Hi friends! Welcome back to the blog.

Today, we’re diving into one of my favorite topics: movies. Few things bring me more joy than snuggling up on the couch, chocolate ice cream in hand, and pressing play.

Movies have this incredible way of sticking with us. They make us feel seen, they make us dream, or they just offer a much-needed escape from the chaos of life. So, I thought it’d be fun to share my Top 5 Favorite Movies of All Time. These are the films I’ve watched over and over, the ones I quote way too much, and the ones that always feel like home.

Let's get into it!

Coming in hot at number 5 is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets!

The Harry Potter series has always been a favorite of mine, and Chamber of Secrets delivers everything I love—magic, mystery, and suspense. From the eerie petrification of students to the sinister diary and the hidden chamber, this movie keeps you hooked from start to finish.

And let’s not forget Harry’s uncanny ability to survive anything thrown his way. Whether it’s luck, skill, or divine intervention, you have to admire his resilience (and thank Fawkes for the assist!).

With its perfect mix of humor, heart, and haunting suspense, The Chamber of Secrets easily earns its spot in my top 5!

Moving on to number 4… Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith!

This has been the most recent addition to my list. While I used to be a Star Wars skeptic, I now totally understand the hype. Watching Anakin's fall to the dark side was genuinely heartbreaking. The moment he decides to seek out the Sith to learn how to save Padmé pulls him deeper into darkness. From the tragic slaughter of the younglings to the dramatic final battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin over molten lava, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Revenge of the Sith is packed with emotional weight and high stakes that make it stand out in the Star Wars saga.

Getting into the Top 3… I Can Only Imagine!

This film holds such a special place in my heart—fair warning: you’ll definitely want to grab some tissues before you start watching.

Based on the true story behind the song, I Can Only Imagine follows Bart Millard’s journey of forgiveness and healing with his father, who undergoes a dramatic transformation after coming to know Jesus. It’s a powerful reminder that no one is ever too far gone to experience the grace and mercy of Jesus, and this movie portrays that beautifully.

If you haven’t already, go listen to the song and take a moment to reflect on the incredible truth it shares. Seriously, it’ll move you.

HERE WE GO AT NUMBER 2… The Grinch!

I don’t think there’s a more relatable and quotable movie out there. Seriously, The Grinch delivers lines that stick with you every single day. Let these quotes speak for themselves:

"That’s it! I’m not going.""I’m not just eating because I’m bored.”"5:00, solve world hunger, tell no one; 5:30, jazzercise; 6:30, dinner with me—I can’t cancel that again; 7:00, wrestle with my self-loathing... I’m booked!"

This movie has it all—goofiness, heart, and a reminder that Christmas isn’t just about the stuff but about the people and the joy we share. Jim Carrey’s Grinch is an absolute masterpiece, and I just can’t get enough.

And finally... Number 1... The Greatest Showman!

This movie is pure magic. From the first note of “The Greatest Show” to the final bow, I’m hooked every single time. The energy, the music, the performances—it’s the perfect mix of inspiring and entertaining.

What I love most about The Greatest Showman is the theme of embracing who you are and celebrating what makes you unique. It’s a story about taking risks, finding your tribe, and having the courage to live your truth. Hugh Jackman brings such charm and heart to the role of P.T. Barnum, and the supporting cast is phenomenal.

And let’s talk about the music. Every song is an anthem, but “This Is Me” gets me every time. The message of self-acceptance and not letting others define you is so powerful.

The Greatest Showman is a movie that always leaves me feeling inspired and ready to chase my dreams, no matter what. It’s about believing in yourself, living authentically, and showing the world what you’ve got—there’s no better way to end my top 5 list.

Thanks for reading!

If you got this far, I'm impressed and I love you! These are just a few of the best movies of all time. Interstellar and 13 Going on 30 were very close to making the cut.
